Novalog IP - Toll Fraud and Alarms

Novalog IP can alert you when any of these incidents appear on your voice network.

These alarms can be misuse of the telephone (including performance indicators) by your staff, toll-fraud attempts from external sources, or even indications of problem with your trunks or remote access.

 

 

 

 

 


User Configurable Alarms

Novalog IP allows you to set the following alarms to automatically trigger an email or SMS alert.

Each of these alarms can be configured to meet your needs.

  • Calls over £x
  • Calls lasting longer than hh:mm:ss
  • Calls to destinations starting with 00xxxxx
  • Extensions with more than 'x' unanswered calls
  • Extensions with more than 'x' calls in total
  • Extensions with less than 'x' calls in total
  • Calls involving particular numbers in Party 1,2,3 or 4 (DISA / RMATS usage Indicators)

In addition, the heuristic-modelled alarm allows you to be alerted with these types of alarm;

  • Trunk traffic on a particular group is varied by +/- x% for the same period on another (equivalent) day.
  • Network Latency (IP Network monitoring)
